Business Analyst Methods Referentials


Our customer is looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen the team responsible for the storage, improvement and maintenance of the data of all their customers and intermediaries.  In addition, an important part of the activities also consists of contributing to the development of the vision of tomorrow:

  • Centralize all available customer information and make it available to all users and processes.
  • Unify and centrally store and manage customer data and preferences.
  • Complete and improve the existing customer data.
  • Offer a platform to the end customers to view and adjust their own data and preferences if required.

To further expand the strategy, the candidate will work on various projects in parallel, where the following skills will be required.

  • Collecting, synthesizing and modelling the concrete needs of the business departments regarding customer management and customer follow-up.
  • Further elaboration of these needs in projects in close consultation with the business and the ITdepartment.
  • Assisting in the realization of these needs by supporting IT department in development phases and managing test phases with Business teams, editing manuals and preparing and following up on training for the end users
  • Communication about the progress to the different stakeholders of the project.
  • Take initiatives to improve the quality of the customer data, complete it through data analysis and develop synergies between the Data warehouse and the operational systems.

Main objectives of the job:

  • Analyse business requirements & synthesize
  • Create functional documentation of project requirements for IT teams
  • Set-up, create and maintain comprehensive patrimonial documentation
  • Align & follow-up of implementation team
  • Coordinate business teams testing the solution
  • Support business architecture documentation of referential domain
  • Help build positive team spirit


The candidate must have 2 to 5 years of experience in the following:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Insurance or financial industry
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a Process Analyst
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good knowledge business process modeling
  • Good knowledge of data modelling principles

Preferably, he also has

  • 2 to 5 years of experience with Referential/Party data management
  • Knowledge of testing processes
  • Knowledge of Business Architecture

Language requirements:

  • Dutch, French: fluent in one, basic in the other
  • English: fluent
