We search a senior analyst that will contribute to both Functional and Technical analysis, working very close together with the business analysist,

Function  description:

• Starting from the business analyses, creating a functional and technical analysis.
• Understands the E2E process and data flow, analyses and document the new process and data model
• Challenges business requirements towards technical feasibility, risks and limitations, proposes alternatives and improvements and get validation in the target solution.
• Align with architects on technical solutions.
• Can read and understand existing code (Cobol) (Batch, transactional and online)
• Has mainframe experience
• Knows how to work with DB2 and IMS, can create queries and document the process and data model.
• Analyses and translates the business/client needs in requirements towards the building of target solution(s). Formalizes and documents the requirements and functional analysis in the standards used by the team so the developers can progress autonomously. Liaises with other contributors when required.
• Prepares and participates to the functional and end-to-end testing of new functionalities to deliver maximal quality, reports on progress, defects, risks.
• Together with the BA, help on adoption and change management
• Acts as interface between the stakeholders, communicates fluently (oral and written)
• Identifies, communicates and manages the constraints, impediments, risk(s) and issues to keep qualitative delivery on-track.
• Works autonomously while being a strong team player
• Dutch / French / English

Experience - mandatory

• At least  5 years of relevant experience in a Functional/Techical Analyst role
• Good expertise in mainframe development
• Good expertise in MS Office
• Good understanding of IS and testing
• Functional analysis and technical functionalities
• Understand Cobol (Batch and Transactional)
• Knowledge of TWS, Expeditor, ISPW
• Knowledge of MQ or ZOS-connect
• Good understanding of work flow processes
• Excellent analytic skills
• Customer centricity and empathy
• Great stakeholder management
• Great communicative skills

Experience  - preferable           

• Knowledge of the Agile methodolody
• Knowledge of Payroll sector
• Knowledge of wage calculation
