Functie

Technical Architect designs and oversees the implementation of complex IT solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. They collaborate with any relevant teams and with the domain architect to define technical standards, select appropriate technologies, and establish best practices. The role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to align technical solutions with operational standards and requirements.

Scope of Work

• Defines system architecture and ensures scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborates with any relevant stakeholders to implement technical solutions.
• Sets technology standards, best practices, and system integrations.
• Conducts code reviews, performance optimizations, and security assessments.
• Act as an Ambassador

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in designing cloud-based, microservices, and enterprise-level applications.
• Strong knowledge of cloud integration architectures.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, security, and CI/CD pipelines.

Your Responsibilities

• Defining guidelines and architecture for new and ongoing projects in collaboration with the team.
• Conducting analyses on complex IaaS, Paas or SaaS solutions.
• Keeping up with technological advancements, concepts, and best practices in your field. You assess their applicability within the environment and advise on the best way to implement them.
• Coordinating related projects and initiatives, including planning and organizing resources for the technical implementation and maintenance of the solutions.

Profile

• You have experience >12 years
• You have knowledge of several parts of our technology stack and are willing to deepen your expertise in areas you are less familiar with. Our stack includes: Azure, Containerization, Linux, Tomcat, etc.
• You have strong analytical skills and communicate clearly and continuously, both verbally and in writing.
• You have a hands-on mentality, coach and inspire others.
• Experience with refactoring and modernizing legacy applications is a valuable asset!
